Old Saybrook: a town where modern living rubs elbows with a rich colonial history.
It’s the oldest town on the Connecticut shoreline, and embodies the spirit of small town living. While architectural styles are a mix of old and new, there are many 18th century Colonial and 19th century Federal buildings; more than 100 homes are designated as having historic significance.
A detailed walking tour brochure is available at the Old Saybrook Chamber of Commerce office, a 17 min. walk from the James Pharmacy Bed and Breakfast.
